Tir Natur (Nature’s Land) is a Welsh rewilding charity, set up to address the nature and climate emergencies in a country that is ranked 224th out of 240 for nature intactness.

The primary goal of the charity is to raise funds and purchase land in Wales to act as a showcase for rewilding. In doing so they aim to address some of the misconceptions surrounding the term and inspire other land managers to follow suit. The charity currently operates as a steering group of ten dedicated volunteers with diverse skillsets and backgrounds, from ecology and environmental education, to farming and filmmaking.

Wilder Wales Network

Tir Natur will host a Wilder Wales Network’ to bring together people and projects from around Wales who are putting nature first. It will be an opportunity to share ideas and experiences of rewilding in practice and serve to highlight the benefits of rewilding to biodiversity, carbon capture, rural communities and food production.
